| Subject: Yay! My Minecraft install works well on Linux! Sun Jun 03, 2012 8:40 am | |
| Well, I'll start playing soon, but for those who know how AT&T operates, I NEED to be to work ON TIME and never miss a day. If I do, I need a damn good reason. So, for the next six months, I'll be on as often as I can in bursts. I am out of my home at 5 AM PST and back hoem after 7 PM PST. I need to get a car instead of relying on the bus. It's a three hours daily commute FFS!
Now, the other reason why I post is because some have had a lot of issues getting Minecraft to work well on Linux, most notably Ubuntu. I extend my help for those who need it and get lots of conflicting answers and unnecessary steps. I will not post what I did since each and every install, setup and environment is different. But either a PM or response to this thread will get you the help you need.
Also! (I know...) My donation will be coming, on the 15th or 16th since that is when I get paid. I'm not doing this for brownie points, nor special treatment. I am trying to stress that out of all the servers I've played on int he last 4 months, this is by far the best I've come across. Staff and setup included.
Hope to see everyone soon ;-) | |
