Minecraft 360

So how many of you are tempted with the 360 version, i've not read much about it myself other than it being like the 1.6 beta and having a map limit of 1000by1000 blocks

So friends and I planned on having a Minecraft night tonight after work, but I'm still broke and he has school in the a.m. and I go to work even earlier.

Minecraft For Xbox Is really Good. I started Minecraft in Beta 1.6.6 And THe xbox versin is that. also I think the Graphincs Are BetterAnd It is Nice that it is Spit Screen. But I still think 1.6.6 Was the best because after that I didn't Really Liek some stuff they added.

One of my favorite additions after 1.6.6 was pistons.

I am not a console gamer. I was when the Nintendo 64 was a fresh and new console. I get more satisfaction from PC gaming. BUT MC360 is a good idea and since I support Mojang, I would get it...if I had an XBox 360 ;-)

I have to ask, what was your fav 64 game? For me its tied between Mario64 and Bomberman or Goldeneye

It's a tie between Conker's Bad Fur Day and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Those tow I pretty much played every day till done and then played again. I NEVER used strategy guides, which were slowly coming to be popular. There were other games, but I really don't really remember playing anything else as much.

360 seems cool, to be able to play MC splitscreen is awesome

I bought MCXBLA last night, played it all night till I went to bed. Pretty fun. It takes a bit to get used to the controls.

I was so taken back by all the old stuff that they'd updated since then. Old chests, old door sounds, old graphics. I jumped into the nether and was surprised when I saw the old netherack texture. Holy crap.

Got all the achievements too.


EDIT: Oh crap. Moments after making this post, I logged on to survival server and forgot I had to craft stuff manually.

MC360 is going to come up to date with the PC version eventually. They are going to come out with another update Early August probably. Just some rumours.

It isn't rumers but they said End of Augest, Early Semptember

I don't have an Xbox, and I don't plan on getting one, so I'm a cheater and mod my PS3 controller to put inputs into my computer to play minecraft, then I use an HDMI cord to play my laptop on my tv. So.. Its like having minecraft for the PS3 and I don't have to wait for the updates to make it like the PC version.
