I really want to mention that we need the best mods in-game for real, so please take you're time and answer the questions as best as you can.

I think I should be a Moderator because I have spent many hours on the server building and helping people. I have not constantly asked either. Now I understand that your choice isn't because you guys like the person or not, it is a vote. This server however does have a problem with spammers and griefers, I would cut that down. Usually I'll play online for about 3 to 4 hours a day.I would encourage people to do the contests simply because they are a fun and enjoyable experience. I'll bump the MC forums everyday or eat least every other day. My answer to the question would be that i would help them cause I'm a Moderator and it's my job to do that, not mine further. I do have experience as a Admin on another server but the server was not needing me any more so i resigned and came to Starmine. This server is great and I really think I deserve the Moderator ranking.

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server?
Because I am on quite a bit and there are usually mods/admins on but they just never seem to have time to do what they want, they are constantly helping. And I feel like I could help them out by taking a role in all the questions and such.
- How long have you played, are you new or...?
I have been on this server for a little over a month (maybe more?) and I just LOVE it. Everyone is so nice. Like when ever some1 new joins, almost everyone says "Welcome!"
- If we accepted you , what would you do to improve the server.
Bump the MC Forums, help out with any problems, suggest new ideas and plugins, and just be there when ever you need me.
- Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions? Well, I bet I could, but I might get in a bad mood. If I do, there will probably be another mod/admin to help out and possibly cool me down.
- If someone swears and griefs , what would YOU do? ( not neccesary to answer for PvP appliers , except the swearing part ) Griefing: I would let them explain themselves, then since they shouldn't be doing it, I would ban them and use hawkeye to make sure that that person was not the only one doing it, then I would use rollback and roll it back. As for swearing, like baseball, three strikes and your out!
- Are you willing to offer some freetime of you're minecraft-ingame adventure to help people out? Of course, as of currently I am running out of things to do so helping people out would TOTALLY be an option. I would always be there for the people of Starmine!
- Would you abuse the teleport option? Well, if I was mining with someone, and they died, I would probably tp them to me. I might even start a business of tping people, maybe like 250 per tpa. But if you wouldn't like that, I would only do it on certain ocassions.

- We sometimes host contests , would you encourage people to get in the competition? You bet I would. I would maybe even enter it myself to encourage more.
- How long do you play a day? This depends on the day. Ad I am a MC nerd, I would probably get in 2-4 hours on a school night and on a weekend with no sports going on, I would probably be on like 4-8! Ya, that's how much I love this server!
- Got any experience as a moderator on another server? I am sorry but no , I have really only enjoyed this server
- Any extra info here... I LOVE this server so much. I think it would be a great opportunity for me to be a Mod! I think that AlabasterTempest (aka Yuki) has had most of the influence on me because of all the hard work she puts in for this server. I would like to apply for the original Starmine Your Adventure server because I tend to be on that one the most!

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server? Answer: I want to be a moderator on these servers because I want to help develop the Starmine community, welcome the newcomers, and I would like to come up with places that goes along the servers.... Like shops, hotels and more!!!
- How long have you played, are you new or...? Answer: I have been playing for almost a year now.... I am not new.... I known all the plugins and the rules!! I do not grief which I consider mean to people because I know how hard they made their homes.
- If we accepted you , what would you do to improve the server. Answer: If I got accepted, I would try to improve both servers by helping the staff on making statues, hotels, making land flat, making a city, and making the server grow with a lot of people!!

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server? - Because i am very dedicated to this server and i am always on the server every day and i always give new members a good welcome to the server.

- How long have you played, are you new or...? - i have played on the server for a long time and I'm on every day, i could estimate i have been on the server for 6-8 months.

- If we accepted you , what would you do to improve the server. - I will always ask to help other mods if they need help either improving part of the server, e.g. the spawn, biomes and other aspects of the server even i would try to make the sever better by introducing other adventure maps.

- Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions? - I think i can handle the questions as i would like to think i am an experienced player of minecraft and i am always willing to do the best i can to help members.

- If someone swears and griefs , what would YOU do? ( not neccesary to answer for PvP appliers , except the swearing part ) - If someone griefs on the sever they should be given a warning the first time and banned the second but if the first time grid is on a large scale they should be banned straight away.

- Are you willing to offer some freetime of you're minecraft-ingame adventure to help people out? - i am willing to give up as much time as i can to help people on the server.

- Would you abuse the teleport option? - no i would not, if someone asks for help in my mind that is ok to teleport to them but if you just teleport to them for no reason that is not ok.

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server?
I want to be able to better help the people of the server while also playing on it. Getting rid of the players that cause problems for others is something that is crucial to a server. Stopping conflicts before they escalate is another thing I would be helping with.

- How long have you played?
I have been on the server at least a two weeks or more. Seems like forever since I have been on daily for hours.
- If we accepted you , what would you do to improve the server?
I would help keep the server a safe environment for youth and adult alike as well as promote friendliness and a sense of community. I don't need to be a mod to do that but it sure helps. I would make sure when fights occur that both sides are heard and make an unbiased decision (as unbiased as humanely possible).
- Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions?
I believe I could handle the questions, and based off observation most of them are very repetitive.
- If someone swears and griefs , what would YOU do?
You warm them to not do it again if they swear and if they grief they will get a temp ban unless it is very serious. If someone continues to swear or grief they will be banned.
- Are you willing to offer some freetime of you're minecraft-ingame adventure to help people out?
Of course, I do that as is. My "freetime" is just having fun on the game and helping others is part of that fun.
- Would you abuse the teleport option?
No, I wouldn't. If someone asked to be teleported I would have to decline them since it is not allowed.

Yeah, it may take a week or so to get in the habit but it shouldn't be a problem. I would also try to help get the forums more active. Maybe have forum games.

That would be very rude, so no I would not ignore people. If someone needs help I would stop what I am doing, if its personal, and go help them. Obviously emergencies come up but I believe those are exceptions.

Of course, community involvement is always a good thing. If the people on the server get to know each other it makes everyone happier.

A few hours a day, sometimes half a day or a full day.....

No experience as a mod but I have taken many leadership roles in the past. Mostly for groups that had to get a presentation finished.

Hmm, not really anything else that i can say at the moment so I'll just say I hope some good mods are chosen to help the server.

A. I want to be a mod on this server because I love this server and think i would be the right person for the job.
- How long have you played?
A. I have been playing since January

A. I would improve the server by being online daily to help the new people and to help the people who have been on the server for longer. I would also help the admins when they need it and I would help on major building projects and on minor ones too. I would also ensure that everybody has a great time just like I had.

A. Yes, For two reasons: I used to own a server and I normally answer the questions when the admins and mods are not on.

A. If someone swears I would give them a warning first then if they keep swearing they will get a temp ban and I would report the person to an admin or snowy to take further action. If someone griefs I will make sure that It was that person who griefed if so tell him he/she is banned then I would tell an admin or snowy to take further action.

A. Yes I will I have done in the past and I would not stop if I got mod I would be on more

A. 3 to 10 hours a day on average about 4:30 hours however during summer all day most days.

If someone swears i would give them 3 warnings I.E like baseball,If someone griefs if minor it would be temp and make them pay ingame money to the person they grief to show respects, If it's gigantic will ban and have a slight chance to get unban if they apply on fourms

Well if you guys want to know a little about me i'm 16 trying to get into commentary's on YouTube etc. And i'm a ensign in the JROTC program so i have the leadership skills in someways my motto to my cadets is No pain no gain i won't force but at least be welling to try, (That's for our P.T (Physical training))

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server? When HimmelsDaemon first told us about Starmine, I didn't want to join the server. My friends and I have made a few and played on several servers but, with only one programmer, we didn't have the time to make it awesome with Bukkit's early days plugins. So, the rest of our group decided it might be just another multi-player server. Sometime later, a couple of us who were reluctant (Ceronos and myself) played our first day through, and loved it! Since then, we've been playing everyday for several hours, looking at the MCforums, and exploring these Starmine forums and the Compendium for the information and community. I want to be able to make a larger impact on the world itself and the people in it, and I'm dying inside not being able to help people in the ways they need help. It's part of who I am - ambitious, helpful.
- How long have you played? About 3 weeks!
- If we accepted you, what would you do to improve the server? I can come to understand most people, so I'll help with interpersonal relationships, as well as really expand the world of Starmine itself - the roleplay, the landscape, cities... I'm adept at using World Edit and I understand the consequences of actions to a "T." Streamline existing systems, create new places, and enhance the role-play/survival aspects of this server - that's what I'll do, while devoting myself to helping people discover, build, and immerse themselves in Starmine!
- Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions? Absolutely! Depending on the time of day, I'll be spending more time answering questions and talking with people than actually playing the game, lol.
- If someone swears and griefs , what would YOU do? I like to understand people. I'll give a warning if it's their first time, making sure they understand. A kick, the second time along with a warning of a temporary ban. If the player continues swearing when their ban is lifted, I'll see if other admins/mods agree a permenant ban is in order, then do so. Griefing depends on the severity of the damage, but it would look like this, if it's minor griefing: a warning the first time, a temporary ban the second, along with letting the other admins and mods know the person was given a second chance. Naturally, I'll learn from everyone else who the current troublemakers are... Anything greater than a minor grief will be a permanent ban after talking to the other mods/admins.
- Are you willing to offer some freetime of you're minecraft-ingame adventure to help people out? I have an adventure? ;P Of course! As mentioned before, I love understanding people, helping them with projects or information, and creating new/updating old systems, areas, and buildings.
- Would you abuse the teleport option? I'll only teleport when doing something for the server or helping resolve a dispute between players - to become personal and let them see and know Starmine mods will always care more than they realize.

He makes videos already, loves minecraft, and plays with us on this server. So, it would be easy as pie to help encourage and motivate people to participate in the many contests of Starmine!
- How long do you play a day? Hum... I was hoping someone could tell me, haha! 5-10 hours, depending on the day.
- Got any experience as a moderator on another server? I've ran my own, but never grabbed bukkit plugins, since Alpha. Joined as an admin on my friends' servers. My main experience comes from being a clan chief on the RTS game Warcraft III for 5 years.

- Why do you want to be moderstor on this server ?

Well I always want to help people who are in need of help.Also i think i could help the admins out when they are busy or when they want some free time. Lastly because im kind,Freindly and a hardworking boy.

- How long have you played ?

Well its got to becoming up to a month I no it isnt as good as other mod applications because they are on ALOT longer then me. But this is my First server i've been on and im going to stay on it for a LONG time .

- If we accepted you what would you do to improve the server ?

Well i would help with anything you throw at me and i would try my best to get it done. Also I have a very big imagination and i would like to suggest some of my ideas , such as an starmine airport with a few working hands it could be done . It would be a very long shot but maybe we could build nasa space station , and i think alot of people would help with that.

Well yes i think i could im always bugged when other admins/moderators are bombarded with questions and it makes me think i could help alot .

- If someone swears or greifs, what would YOU do ?

Well with a GREIF i would ask for a explanation depending on how big the greif is . Either way there still going to get Banned for up to the most of 7 days or maybe more if its a HUGE greif .

With SWEARING i would give a instant kick from the server and when they get back on i would tell them why i kicked them and if they SWEAR again i would kick again.

Well yes, it would fill like a duty to help people out . I would give my whole day of MC to people in need if it comes to it , i could'nt complain because it would be my job and i would enjoy it .

Well I would only teleport to players when they are in need of help , but i wouldnt tp people to people there are alot of stargates around the harbour and the stargate leading to the biome's

Well yet again it would fill like a duty to do it , i would try my best but i can guarante at least once a day

Yes players always come first in my book , and i would try my best to fix the problem they seek.

WEEKEND - minimum of 5 hours maximum of 13 i play roughly 9-11 hours a day . you could ask people for proof and i requon they would agree with me

WEEKDAY - well i dont play as much as weekend simply because i have school so i would say around 3-4 hours depending on what time i go to bed or if i have homework.

Sadly no, this is my first MC server i have ever been on , but i think somtimes you have to give people chances like me :L

I would try to encourage myself to be the best i can be to others.

I would like to be a moderator because I believe the rules of the server must be enforced a bit more and that there are many people who need help and it is too much for the small amount of mods we currently have. I also have had experience with being mod on 2 other servers, and think I can do much to help the server as a moderator. I really enjoy this server and spend most of my day online at the Starmine Survival Server.

I have been playing about 3 months now and spend much of my time that isn't occupied already with school work or helping around the house on the server. I have grown attached to this server and just can't stop playing!

If accepted, I would seek my other friends that I know have minecraft accounts and ask they join the server, and help to grow and strengthen it. I would also help Yuki with those tiresome hours of cutting down floating trees and banning the ones responsible. I am not afraid to enforce the rules of this wonderful server. Anything, to keep it running smoothly.

I have noticed that many players do ask questions, or for the help of mods/admins. I do think that it may be difficult handling these countless questions, but I am devoted to my commitment and will help as many players as I can.

For swearing, which I am even accountable for at times, I would merely kick the violator the first few times, as warning. If it became to high a level of swearing, then i may be forced to bring down the ban hammer for a temporary ban of a day or so. Griefing in my opinion is unacceptable, and will result in an automatic ban, whether it be long-term or forever.

Definitely. I will surrender as much of my game time to the great people of Starmine as they require. I do little to help out, and would love to get away from my place for awhile to help others.

Yes, if required to help players on the server. Teleporting is only a way to help out, though.

As for bumping twice a day, I will not always be available to twice each day, but will strive to make your request happen.

I will always stop what I am doing to help a player, whether there are other mod/admin available to help or not.

On the weekend I will stay up all night long, for I am a teenager of course, But on school nights I am afraid I can only be on from when school ends around 4, until around 9:30-10ish.

I do have experience as moderator, as a matter of fact. I was one of the first and few mods on Allen Hoskins server Starting from Scratch, a server much like this one; busy, with a very friendly community! I have been mod on one other server but it was discontinued shortly after I was modded.

I’d like to be a moderator because I'd love to be able to help the other admins and moderators and help lighten the workload that they’re often put under.

-How long have you played?
Roughly 4 weeks. I have however racked up a reasonable amount of online playtime during that period.

-If we accepted you, what would you do to improve the server?
I'd help where I was needed by both players and other moderators/admins. Also due to my small amount of college hours I’m often on during times that most of the other moderating staff are either asleep or otherwise busy. I’ve seen what it is like during those times as well as how overwhelmed the first member of the staff online is as they’re bombarded with questions and requests. I’d try to help deal with such requests as they came up so less would build up for later on.

-Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions?
I already try to help players how I can, especially during the periods of admin/moderator absence like above. So far I’d like to believe I’ve been able to deal with the amount well enough considering currently being a regular member.

-If someone swears and griefs, what would you do?
For swearing, unless it was excessive and particularly offensive I would work off 3 stages. First would be a warning; second would possibly be a kick (especially if it was clearly intentional or in a short period of time) and third would be a temp ban/ban, the time varying depending on the case and circumstance; whatever would be considered appropriate.
For griefing, if it was a very minor case and deemed unintentional (e.g. by a very new or young player) I would issue a warning to make sure they were then aware of what they did and what to do to avoid doing it again. In other cases, if it is an intentional first or second offense by a more seasoned player I would ban and allow the victim to choose between the perpetrators being banned or simply temp banned. Compulsive griefers would be banned straight off.

-Are you willing to offer some free time of your Minecraft in-game adventure to help people out?
Of course; there is little use being a moderator if you're not willing to help out. I also enjoy helping people, especially when they are particularly polite about it. I (not so) secretly love being able to see what other amazing things people are building and the travelling to them element of helping allows me to do that.

-Would you abuse the teleport option?
I already have the ability and while it has probably made me a little more lazy when it comes to traversing the world, it’s not something I abuse or use to excess.

-Are you willing to bump the minecraft server forums on MC forums twice a day?
I would try do what I could, although if others are bumping then likely not twice a day for fear of over bumping and causing the thread to be closed. I have, unfortunately seen that happen several times.

-If no other mods or admins are online and someone has a problem, would you help them or just mine further?
If it was something that could be answered/resolved in chat then I would help as I could; If it required me being at the member’s location I would ensure where I was working in was safe then teleport over.

-We sometimes host contests, would you encourage people to enter the competition?
Most definitely. It can be awesome to see the skill of some folks, especially in creative contests.

It can vary, but averaging about 12 hours a day.

While I’ve not moderated another server before, I have previously admin’d two forums, moderated one and mostly solo moderated 2 chats, one of which would sometimes have upwards 0f 50-60 people during busy periods or events.

I started playing on this server in mid-January and play around 8 hours a day on this server.

If you accepted me I would learn the new commands and responsibility, and I would use these new tools to help improve and sustain the peace in this server.

Being on the server about eight hours a day, I think I would be able to handle and awnser the player’s questions.

If players swear of spam a lot I would give one or two warning, then after that if they don’t listen I would ban. If someone griefed I would go straight for a ban.

I would definitely offer my free time to help people out as much as I can.

No I wouldn’t. Since I don’t teleport much anyway, I wound rarely use the teleport command.

Yes, I am willing to bump starmine on the forums two or more times a day to keep the thread at or near the top of the server list in minecraft forums.

Even though I’m in the middle of a 6 thousand block long tunnel project, I would spend even an hour to help people with problems expecualy when no other moderator or admin is present.

Yes I would. I think the competition ideas are amazing and worthwhile. I would also encourage myself at the same time to get in the competition. : D

I play about 7 hours a day on weekdays, and around 10 hours a day on weekends

Sadly, no this is one of the first servers I’ve played on, and the first bukkit one, but I will do my best.

I am good at mining, gathering, and other large, repetitive projects. I like to help others and get nothing in return. I am a boyscout and I am good at remembering the most random stuff. If you were to ask me the square root of five, I would say 2.23606797749979. i also don't like messing up or getting something wrong.

- Why do you want to be a moderator on this server and - How long have you played?
I want to be a moderator because I enjoy positions of responsibility. I really enjoy being someone people can look up to and respect. That being said, I've only played for a few solid days, maybe a total online time of a week, but I believe that should not count me out of the running. I have shown dedication to the server. I believe it has potential, that's exactly why I donated literally the last $11 I have until my next paycheck.

- If we accepted you , what would you do to improve the server?
If accepted as a Mod I would dedicate myself to furthering the player's experience. Snowy believes that the new Quest World will be a big hit, and if all the Mods aren't on board with his idea, it won't work. It will not. Testing, running, and using new plugins and ideas will be a priority. If someone has a good experience, they're more likely to bring friends, possible donaters, the next time they play.

- Considering the amount of players online, do you think you can handle the amount of questions?
Being a Mod and having to drop what I'm doing to help others is nothing different than what I do at my job in real life already. I get to work at least a half an hour early every day to have time to eat before my shift and get ready for it. 90% of the time I get asked for help so much that I have 5 seconds to scarf down my food and jump on board the working train. Besides, I'm usually just wondering around in circles on Starmine looking for stuff to do anyway, so helping others is nothing.

- If someone swears and griefs , what would YOU do?
If someone swears, I'd do exactly what happened to me when my curse went out to public instead of the intended party chat. I'd kick 'em, and remind them of the rules when they rejoin. If they think they're still above the rules, ban hammer. If someone reports a grief, I'd investigate both side's opinion. Its important to be fair. If I can not come to a definite conclusion myself, I'd ask for another Mod or and Admin's input.

I believe this question was answered earlier but I'll do it again. Yes. I like to help people out.

Mods currently don't teleport anyone and neither would I. If I need to get to my friends, my character has two feet to walk from the nearest /home of mine to that player.

Of course. MCForums is already in my daily routine of websites, each of which get visited at least 5 times an hour when I'm bored. If I'm not bored however, I do browse each when I get up and right before bed.

Help them. As long as I have the necessary tools to solve the problem, nothing will stop me.

Several hours a day at least. I'm pretty sure like 75% of my last day off from work was logged on time on Starmine.

I don't, but I used to be the Chieftain and a Shaman of a Wc3 clan with over 100 members. I do also have experience as a position of responsibility as a manager for just over three years now. A lot more explained next.

I'm 20 years old, not even old enough to drink alcohol legally in the USA, and I'm already engaged and the manager of a two point four million dollar a year business. I don't joke around when it comes to serious things. Lacking any experience as a mod on another server is already replaced by what I have to do at work. My experiences from work could bring valuable knowledge to the moderation and admin teams of Starmine. And I did say I've been a manager for three years, that means they let little ol' seventeen year old me run a business. I can be the strong arm of the law or the greatest party thrower. Plus, I do live in the middle of USA and I know a lot of the Mod/Admin teams are from the European areas so I'm going to be on when most of y'all are sleeping/working.

I'd like to be a moderator on the server because I love help people,being a role model is a pleasing idea to me, and I really like the server and the people on it.

I've played since May second mostly from four PM to ten PM.I know it isn't a lot, but it's been a very fun trip.

Griefing: Small thing.glass block or something. I'd give the griefer temp ban.Massive things, whole castles or buildings. I'd ban them for at least a week

Yes, I spend most my time on Minecraft playing the server.While on the server I'm usually walking around doing nothing.
