The 1.3 Update ( important )

As many of you know , the 1.3 update will come out the day after tomorrow.
For now I would suggest to NOT UPDATE you're minecraft yet, we have to wait on the plugins to update , and also on our provider to update.
Meaning that we have to wait atleast 1 week up to 4 weeks before our server can update to 1.3
If you do update you can't login on the server , as we will keep it on 1.2.5

Of course you can update if you want to try out singleplayer , but keep in mind that you have to wait to get back on multiaplyer if you do so.

There is a program called Minecraft version changer. I would highly recommend it as it is also free.

You don't even need those programs to play other versions..
For Windows, all you need to do is: Go to the .minecraft folder, open the bin folder, you'll see minecraft 1.2.5.jar. If you delete the minecraft.jar, and rename minecraft1.2.5.jar to minecraft.jar, you can play 1.2.5.. Simple.
This works with any version.

bukkit released their official first build ("still buggy", to quote one dev) around 5 hours ago - we are now waiting for certain key plugins to update before we will be in a position to update - if we updated right now, we could find plugins partially or fully nonfunctional, so this is the reason for further wait.

Use minecraft version changer tiny. Or if you have a backup from 1.2.5, use that.

FYI on the bukkit 1.3 - They have an unofficial RB, but the devs have told us that it is not intended as a RB, rather its provided for server to use so they can bug test, and help us build the actual RB.

No ETA on the bukkit release - so for some time, if you have updated to 1.3, you will not be able to connect to the server (although we may have a possible work around with 1.2.5-R5)

i updated. 1.3.1 is fun. you can have your own server but its not a server its a lan. your server is your singleplayer world.
