whats better glass blocks or panes

mine is panes

Panes come at sixteen per six sand blocks, whereas the same amount of glass blocks is sixteen sand blocks. Panes also look nicer.

Blocks, obviously. >.> <.<

I think that blocks look nicer because, if you are building with block why use a non-block?

Glass blocks are better. The bigger, the better, right?

Easily glass blocks cuz u dont get stuck with vertical half blocks and pieces missing.

Glass Block(Because) You cna make a Good roof with them.......Not with Glass Planes

Well it depends really, whether what floor of the housing or base you are using them on. Glass Panes are very nice and can even make a nice chandelier but are not good for first floors. If there are skeletons and they attempt to follow you they can come up to the glass and their bows can glitch through the window and actually hit you.

I think chandeliers would be best when you use both. It's too bad panes don't connect to stairs.

Blocks. Not a fan of the panes at all.

fGlass bloks are better for roafs and that kind of stuf... But i like panes more

Thats really up to the person asking the question, but I feel like its situational. They both are good in different settings imo

The panes offer a nice windowsill to perch upon as you gaze out the side of the Grand Hall in your castle across the valley below...

But the blocks provide excellent support, be they the floor or ceiling!

My question is: glass stairs? Glass slabs? Glass trap-doors that shatter when an enemy walks on top of them?
It is time for a glass mansion to throw rocks at!

Blocks are cool

you can't place anything up against glass either which would have its uses. Coloured glass would be a nice touch - not sure if i've mentionned that one before

Yah and if you could paint wood too.

I dislike the blocks because they have an opacity. If you take a block that's floating and surround the block with glass blocks, it becomes really dark but it shouldn't. That's my only problem with glass blocks.

Well it depends becasue you can get more out of glass panes but with the blocks they look nicer and you can make roofs with them inlike glass panes so blocks is better for me

I like Glass panes for glass walls, and Glass blocks for floors and ceilings. I think Glass blocks are better for walls if you're going to put signs on them.

I would use panes for ceiling if they actually worked that way. I switch between panes and blocks because I like the look of both.

I like both of them but you will be able to trade with villagers for glass blocks.
