There are alot of mods in the world. ANd we want to know what mods U like and are worth Cheking out.
FOr me it is Modloader But it is for most mods tongue

So tell us what mods are your fav. And Some people might learn some new mods Hope to see what your fav. Mods

I had watched a video on a cool shadow mod (the name might have been shaders or something like that)

The shadow mod, do you have a link? I've also seen a water reflective mod, but it seems to have no yet been updated past 1.2

this (I think) is the mod I was talking about it would also be cool if the server itself could get optifine.
I don't understand how this could work though since (I believe) that mods reqiure changing the .jar file (wouldn't that mean that everyone would need to get the mods for them to work or they might possibly not work at all?).

you download optifine yourself, as it affects your PCs performance, has nothing to do with the server. Links to such mods in the technical section.

I dont know why but Mods will not run on my computer. I tried Optifine, it gave my MC a blackscreen, I tried TMI for SP, it didnt work, and I tried the one i want most, Rei's Minimap, and the same thing as TMI, it didnt work.

Rei's Minimap and ThaumCraft2 are the only major mods I have. And they're great. Very Happy

it does. but with the api coming out soon, its going to render these programs obsolete i imagine

Yep the wiki says you might just need to click and drag the folder in another folder. So easy mods I won't need winrar yay (unless they are compressed, I tried getting skyblock once and my computer couldn't unzip it).

I like the 'read enchantments' mod. The 'clay soldiers' mod is cool as well.

...I've not talked with any of the other staff, but the enchantment-reading mod is a bit overpowered as it allows you to receive only the best enchantments every time. :l I'd rather you not use it in-server.

As to the actual subject, I really liked Equivalent Exchange when I used it a while ago.

Currently the only mod I use all the time is TooManyItems, I don't usually like the new things that people add. TooManyItems' ability to change between survival and creative mode is the best.

My favorite singleplayer mods are SDK's Guns and Industrialcraft 2. My favorite Multiplayer Plugins are iConomy, essentials, lwc, and any antigriefing mod. Smile
