Resolution

To everyone thinking that I'm hacking:
1) I've said this before and I'll say it again, if, IF my minecraft was altered then it was because of my brother. I should not be banned because of my brother's actions.
2) To whoever looked googled for a nameplate mod and never found it, I found one in about 5 seconds on the 2nd page of google, search better -> http://www.teamavolition.com/topic/5090-mod-minecraft-name-scaling-125/
3) I have force updated my minecraft writing over my previous .jar file so there should be no more problems! I have noticed that the big nameplates are gone but that's all I've noticed. Now all this talk of me being banned can go away because the problems have been solved. I just would like to go back to playing and socializing with friends and having fun instead of accusing people of hacks.

And just to clarify, I haven't downloaded the Team Avolition mod that's in the link, I simply searched for a "minecraft nameplate mod" in google and that's what I found.

Your a good guy and have been a mod in the past if I remember correctly. I don't think there is any reason why people would be thrashing you for this, you are a trusted individual, or at least should be

We know there are name plate sizing mods but there seems to be no name plate mods that look like your but nodus...
I've tried looking for some that look like that and there's nothing + starmine PVP just recently been updated to 1.4.2 and i see none that support 1.4.2.

I looked at the nameplate thing, and it's only 1.2.5, and theres no 1.4.2 version. Also that one looks nothing like the one you had previously.

The point his this "mod" looks EXACTLY like nodus. It's pretty obvious that he's using nodus.

Guys, just because his nameplate is a different color doesn't give you the right to ban one of the most oldest trusted ex-staff members of Starmine. Lol. I think I remember savage being mod if i'm not mistaken.

Grunt, you banned WynneD for having 2 particles underneath him just because Savage claimed he was hacking. Now that we're ALL claiming Savage is hacking, nothing is done.

I noticed one difference in the two pictures that we got and thats Savage's picture was red letter and the Nodus link we got was white... So i did a bit of research and it seems their name turns to red letter when they are sneaking... And guess what the guy he screenshotted was doing. Sneaking

Guys half of you don't know who Savage even is. He has been on the server even longer than I have? Why would he throw that reputation away? I banned WynneD for hacking, the number of particles beneath his feet does not matter at all. If i'm not mistaken I think I saw him flying or using speed hacks as other players have seen or accused him of doing the same thing. As I do believe that Savage might or probably was using nodus or some kind of hack/mod he is not a regular/active PvPer and I don't think I have ever seen him kill someone. Nodus is for PvP hacking I think. I hate sounding bias towards Savage but in all fairness I don't see how you guys can just throw away his reputation away at a different colored nameplate. He is a ex-mod from the old PvP server and has been a player for several months.

I'm sick of people bringing in the fact that someone has played longer than someone else so they get leniency. The rules are the rules. If someone is breaking them they should get punished the same if they've played for 2 years or 2 days.

Yea but it doesnt make the nameplate red. Thats what nodus does when people are crouching

Just like i could of been the other 100s of brothers that logged in the starmine server and starting spamming, swearing, and griefing that we banned? It's a hacked client we have so much proof that it is and he has absolutly none..

Nothing personal to Savage he's done good for the community and is a good person but when i see something so obvious as this? Not to mention I've personally seen him flying in the wilderness but before I could take a screen shot he saw me and left immedialty.

If you are going to accuse Sav of flying, you would need more proof than that

Savage has been given creative a few times by snow and gorilla to help build with things. He has the building capability of a mad genius when he is really inspired and has the right to creative and world edit. He was put into creative at one time to help build either a new spawn or a new shop though I honestly don't know ll the details to that.

I just thought that this little bit of information would go great with the topic above.

Savage isn't like the other 100s of minecraft players though Taters. I agree that he must have had some sort of mod or hack on but his brother could have put it on without him noticing.

Sleeping, refer to the Page 4 of the Reporting Savage thread, i think i proved it that , if nodus WAS installed, he could not have, in any way, ''not noticed it''.

Yes im saying that reputation and how long someone has played should not matter at all when investigating something like this

So your saying that if we had log block and we found a X-ray hole and found out sheep made it we would ban him on the spot? Because that's exactly what would happen if it was a regular.
