Links to the latest mods

Hi everyone,

I'm going to keep a record here of all the mods that are commonly used, and i'll also put up a tutorial on how to mod your minecraft .jar.

Firstly, a link to winRAR, a program you will need if you want to install mods for minecraft:

MCPatcher
- Used to make your HD texture packs function correctly

Optifine
- Not a true mod, but it is used to make your minecraft run much more smoothly

- A simple way to install many mods

- A minimap ingame

note: optifine now incorporates that which you may have used the MCpatcher for, as you can now run 32x32 and above textures with optifine - will test this later
