| I have been on another server that had a farming 'world' or 'biome'. What this is, is a temporary 'world' where people can gather resources to bring back to their houses in alternate worlds. The idea is that it allows users to get all the materials they need without tearing up the biomes in search of things like diamonds or sand or trees. The key feature of this biome would be that it resets after a short period of time [maybe two days or a week?]. I'm curious to see who else likes the idea and whether or not it is possible. :] | |

| I like the current set up. this farming biome sounds like its there to make the game easyer and that will just make it less fun. after all searching for ors is part of what makes Minecraft great | |

| Well that will just force us to grow, to learn new ways of building and of obtaing metals. Already a great way to get gold and iron is to play the arenas. The only ore that might cause a problem is redstone. I would also draw your focus to another topic on the chat PvP. As the ores become rarer we could increase the amount of areas with PvP on so that the lands out side towns can become death traps as order slowly decays. | |

| Well, Order won't decay. The Jarls will see to that. The Map is ever expanding, and it's nearly impossible, unless you dig a quarry, to mine ALL the resources of an area. My boyfriend proved this to me recently by digging under Old Willowake to find several diamonds, quite a bit of gold, and a lot of Lapiz I had missed. Now, the only problems that I can see occurring with our map is simple things. Deforestation, destruction of Desert Biomes in search of sand, but this is all things a player can help prevent. Obviously this comes as don't be stupid with deserts, plant when you cut, if you find a NPC Village, don't destroy it... | |

| Well then thats good news. and in the end I must say that a farm biome would of dulled the whole game down a bit | |
