No, they are useful. Serperior is great. (aqua tail,dragon pluse,outrage) And if you get hidden ability you are invincible.
Black and white starters are good, you need to know how to use them. and one more example. My serperior beat a hydrogon (serperior had no dragon move.) He beat it from full health with leaf blade ( when i was fighting geneists)

I find they are useful.
Anyway, for B/W2, I plan to have Serp and Lucario in my team. (I prefer Serperior out of them all )

Serperior's stats are rather horrid compared to other grass-types. Same does with Emboar and Samurott when it comes to their type as well.

1.) Zekrom(cool looking and has great moves. Plus mine has great Sp.Attack)

2.)rayquaza(He just plain epic.)

3.)Giratina(can change forms, epic looking,great moves, and he is the most to catch.)

4.)Kyurem(He can be grey,white or black kyurem)

5.)Arceus(over-powered but i mean come on its epic. Can change types. And fun to use.)

Espeon. Its the best one.

Seriously, you're screwed if you don't pick Espeon. Basically nothing is nearly as good as it. In my last run it never died no matter what it faced. Give it that move that raises it's attack the more it likes you.
