| Recently I have picked up first person shooters again, mainly I have been playing Planetside 2 (beta). Does anyone else here play PS2? If so or if not, what are you thoughs on it, and what server/faction do you play on, so we could play together sometime.
Mabey we could start a Starmine outfit for the Vanu Sovereignty. | |

| Well, Marshy, Planetside is a MMO FPS, it supports something like 1000 players per faction, with three factions. The game requires a prety powerful computer, but I would definantly suggest trying it if you are able, since it is a free to play game. As for gameplay, I haven't played many other FPS's recently, other than tribes ascend, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I would say it is better than battlefield as far as a shooter aspect. But the game is not just about infantry, there are air and ground vehicals as well. I would say that combined the game is really good, and even though they had to sacrifice in some areas, considering you have 3,000 player matches, the game is still a solid 9/10 for me.
