Our wost minecraft fear

Every time I attempt to log onto the Sarmine server I get this error message.
Failed to verity username! [internal java error java.net unknown host exception: session.minecraft.net]

I'm not sure what it means exactly, but I cant get on starmine because of it, so its evil.
Is this a widespread problem, or is it just me?

are you booting up via MCPatcher? as that doesn't grant you the ability to play online that way.

If not, make a backup on your minecraft bin folder, and redownload minecraft - and see if that helps solve your situation

I was having a similar problem, both with the PvP server and the original one last night. I think it was a problem with whoever hosts it.

have to agree with ala there, seems the servers are just down
