Unban request.

I was apparently banned on 5/11/2012 for apparently having a hacked client. The picture of my supposed "hacking" can be seen on
https://starmine.niceboard.com/t1868-wynned-hacked-client . First off, I can say I don't hack. I constantly lag on this server, especially in the nether. As you can see, i'm right next to the portal from spawn. I was going through and savage was following me. So i ducked and moved towards the portal. Then I ran to avoid having to confront him. As I have stated before, I lag in the nether, and this lag spike is especially prominent during teleportation.

Next, to people who say they have seen me supposedly "flying" or going faster than usual, for a short while, spawn had beacons that let you run faster than usual. Another possible reason would be the use of ender pearls. I doubt everyone has lag-less computers, as people frequently make claims that others are hacking because they "float" above the floor, yet it's just lag.

Yet another argument is that the only "hack" I am being accused of is having dashing animations while crouching, or other movement related "hacks". Many of the commenters of the forum post i posted above attributed these "abilities" to Nodus. However, I am only being accused of "movement hacks" and not any other aspect of Nodus. As I have stated above, I lag a lot, I'm sure many of you people do as well, So Savage merely caught me at a bad time, which would be during transitions to the nether. Therefore the possibility of me using a hacket client such as nodus can be ruled out.

I'd like to state my own opinion with Sheep's decision to discuss this with the mods of the server. I believe it's sort of unfair, seeing that my faction, Ravagers, is one of the only enemied against his, TeK. Many of Mods are either in TeK, or sided with them, so I feel this discussion could have possibly been biased in some way.

Ok WynneD does not hack guys. WynneD was a admin on my favorite server a few months ago. It got shut down. WynneD is the last person i would think would hack. And ok, the proof is basically one photo. Plus if you see in the photo Savage is the one hacking. If his name appears red he has nodus. Anyway, in the photo he typed the message then started shifting thats not a hack is it? So why is Wynne being punished while Savage is getting away by using nodus?

About the flying comment, I am absolutly sure that one of two things happened. One, you were flying, or two, there was a glitch at spawn that made it look as if you were flying on my minecraft client. I have seen the second one happen on several occaions after I accused you, so I can be convinced that it was just a error in minecraft. And I am 100% positive I did not see you using enderpeals or the beacon.

Oh. I Know A glitch to make it look like you fly at the spawn.

So lets unban WynneD?

If you have not seen me using beacons or ender pearl at spawn, I can honestly say I either accidently did a sort of glitch without knowing, or something was not looking right on your side of the computer.

You must have seen someone else that was flying, and thought it was me. Possibly someone who had a W in their name or something similar, but i have no access to flying.

Also another argument related is that there is only one piece of evidence of my "hacking". Other claims are not backed up with screenshots or videos and can be easily dismissed as lag, glitch, or visual problems on one side. Even in the event that i have glitched in some way against the rules, I have not gained anything from it nor have i disrupted anyone's experience at Starmine.

The person who posted that photo had nodus himself. Look at my post the forum wynne was accused on.

And, I get a huge lag spike while entering the nether also. I mean, who doesn't?

I get tones of lag in the nether too. But I couldn't even see particles under your feet at all.

I'm not a mod anymore, but honestly I don't think that there was enough evidence to ban you in the first place. Even what I said could have been just a minecraft error not to mention I have no physical proof as I am an idiot who keeps forgetting what the screen cap button is. As for the evedence that kao brought up, it was not evedent in the singe picture that was given. When I first saw what I thought was WynneD flying I told one of the mods that I thought I saw him flying, and that he should talk to him to see what really happened, not to ban him untill this was sorted out. Quite honestly I think that some thinking and talking needs done now, both for Wynne and savage. Even if savage honestly had no idea that he had a hacked client, somthing still needs done. When someone griefes on the SRV server but it wasnt really them, it was their sibling or their friend using their account. It doesnt matter, they get banned anyway, Even if it truly wasnt them. Do not get this twisted, I am not advocating we ban savage, but I think we should get his notus sorted out. and for WynneD I'm still not convinced that he is a cheater.

Oh my god you guys just unban WynneD he does not hack! Savage is the one hacking but you have not done anything about it. It makes me pissed pff that you guys banned the wrong guy!

Was WayneD temp banned, or perm? If he was perm banned I'll make a poll.

I believe I was permanently banned, as the offense was "hacking". However, I was not informed about this, neither were my faction members. So I am not sure.

Your faction members were informed AFTER I banned you. You were banned because I saw you speedhacking, and I have at least 2 witnesses.

Well I must have made that mistake of assuming my faction members were not informed. Nearly half of them did not know. You banned Blake for supposedly speedhacking as well, but he was unbanned because it was a mistake i presume. You saw my supposed "hacking" right after savage made a comment about it, and i was still lagging at that point. Also, your two or more witnesses, whoever they may be, have not produced any solid evidence of my alleged "hackings". At most I should only have a temporary ban.

This "Proof" was not nearly enough to perm ban. I say the guy who posted the thread of wynne "Hacking" should be banned. He clearly had nodus.

I don't think i have ever seen WynneD hack. And yeah this isn't enough evidence to ban him. even if it was an accidental glitch I mean it's not like anyone was affected positively or negatively by it. So why permanent ban. Just keep an eye on him or something. its like in real life, u can't send someone to jail just cause ppl say they saw something, u need evidence.

Alright, I think it was an unfair ban too. I'll make a poll for his unban, you will have the resaults in 7 days. I'm locking this topic until we have the resaults.

We just got back from the lab with good news, You've been unbanned! When a PvP staff see's this please unban him, thanks.

Already unbanned. WynneD if a staff member catchs you hacking again you will be banned on the spot no hesitation.
