It's pretty obvious someone in the Naga faction is playing foul. The only way they could have gotten into our completely covered obby base with unnecessarily thick walls and the sealed End is by either; 1, someone abusing their power. 2, someone abusing glitches to get around the faction plugin. Or 3, they used questionable methods, by which you what I mean.

The only thing is, we don't know which method was used or who is responsible for cheating, all we do know is who benefited from it. It's really a case of our word against theirs. Knowing this, I suspect BK thinks that nothing will be done about it, so no point in keeping the topic around.

Snowy hasn't put up base rules so none of the old base rules apply unless he decides to put some new ones up. But if this is a report about Naga getting into your base it was completely fair because there was no rule that they have broken.

You could of posted this Below that official Post, Instead of creating a new thread, Kinda Irrelevent to the 'report posts'

Depends what you count "fair" actually. Most, if not all pvp servers don't tolerate the abuse of glitching for gain, especially clear cut glitching like this. Thanks to exploiting plugins it's possible to earn to a stacks upon stacks of Diamond blocks a day, but I suppose by your logic all those diamonds would be "fair". I don't know about you, but if I glitched for a couple stacks of diamond blocks I'm pretty sure I'd get banned on the spot for cheating. I remember when you could kill players in safe zones with potions, but I guess that glitch was also "fair"? Just cause players can do it without a hacked client doesn't mean it isn't cheating. Honestly, it's no different than using a basic texture pack x-ray. It's still cheating in every regard, no matter how you slice it.

And where exactly do we draw the line at glitching? I mean, first off you really have to take their word on it that's actually glitching they did. I'm sorry, but I could download a mod that allows me to walk through walls and claim it's a glitch, but that's just ridiculous. What if there was a glitch to open chests on protected land? Oh, don't worry folks, I got all your stuff fairly, you know, cause it was a glitch. Yeah, that doesn't fly with me. And again, by doing so one is cheating, although I see how you could count that fair.

Enemycommander, when Grunt says "fair" he means it. His entire faction was in on this. He knows how we got in, and so does the rest of his faction. No rules were broken, we were just very clever. If you don't believe us, that's your problem. All I'm saying, is that we have many witnesses (I believe Pie even knows how.) and what was done was legal.

I wasn't there to see any "hacking" involved so I can't really call people out on it unless there is some sort of proof (screenie, etc.). But in my opinion Naga had every right to glitch into your base because they weren't told that they COULDN'T. And they didn't break any rules hence no foul play. Unless there are other parts of this whole dilemma that I haven't heard?...

Grunt, edit your post. Don't tell them EXACTLY how we got in.

By all means ascarygrunt. Report me for hacking. I've seen you constantly call me hacker, but you could never define what I did to hack. You guys act like it isn't possible to kill three guys on one in your own faction land. The definition of "fair" is circumstancial to whatever you do.

Yes, a lot of servers actually just ban for ender pearl glitching into somewhere you shouldn't go. No warning.

That must be because it's fair? Don't get me wrong, I see where you guys are coming from that glitching is fair. There was no specific rule against it so it must be okay. But you never answered Enemy's question. Diamond duplication at the fault of a system error is "glitching". So is it okay for someone to earn 64 stacks of blocks of diamond do to glitching? I implore you to answer that question. Because at the moment you are saying that's completely fair and legit. Doesn't feel "fair" though because it has the same effect as hacking.

And the problem is can't people just blame things on glitching in the future too. All you have to do is hack into their base and "say" it was a glitch in the system. You robbed their protected chest? A glitch in the system, so it's okay. No one was around at the time to protest otherwise, but you did do something that shouldn't be possible within the boundaries of the game. Which both can have that effect, so it could have been by either. So they can get away with it.

That's just it. You keep referring to this as a "glitch" when a "glitch" is something that isn't meant to be possible. Glitches are like bugs, they exist, but they are not meant to. All we did, was take advantage of the basic mechanics of Ender pearls.

When an ender pearl is thrown at the base of a block, (bottom side), it sends you to the top. This can be used in rapid succession because when said block is under another block, your head lands inside the above block. If another pearl is thrown, it hits the bottom of the block your head is inside of, thus making you go yet another block higher. These are the mechanics of the Ender Pearl. If you have a problem with it, take it up with Jeb_, or talk to Snowy about getting them disabled. If you wish to have them enabled, then quit complaining, and learn how to use the tools you have.

couldn't you just make the walls so thick it causes them to suffocate?

Out of obsidian, it would take too long. That would LITERALLY require stacks upon stacks of obsidian. They had Obsidian flooring and walls 2 blocks thick in all directions, and Ender pearls I BELIEVE can be used up to 5 times in rapid succession. To encase a room that size with obsidian over 5 blocks thick, would take at least 7 stacks per wall.

But theoretically wouldn't you only need obsidian on the outer layer? Assuming that the base is protected.

Bk201soren, there is a HUGE difference between getting free diamond blocks to using a ender pearl.

As Kao clearly stated, enderpearl's physics are buggy, it's not glitching or cheating. It's taking advantage of what's been given to you

Nobody is calling anyone hackers? They farmed in the End hence why they could kill Naga. I'm actually going to quit argueing about this topic because it's not going to get anywhere so. But yeah I completely agree with Pie we should lock this topic because it shouldn't even be here.
