GojoMaximus and the Mysterious Case of the Missing Villagers

So basically I bought two villager eggs. I bought two villager eggs because I was going to make an infinite villager farm with these two bad boys. I spent 2 hours making the farm, and after that I went offline. The next day, when I went on Starmine after school with my friend, the two villagers were gone. Nothing was destroyed and there was no possible way that zombies could spawn since the area was torched up to the max light level (and the zombies couldn't even get to one of the villagers, since it was sealed in a box.)

So, is there an issue going on with villagers where we just couldn't see them, or did I waste $400 of hard-earned cash?

sometimes when you join zombies will still spawn to kill villagers even if it is lit, we also don't have a grief tool that works on mobs.

Even if there was a zombie outbreak, they couldn't have gotten one of the villagers, for it was sealed in a small room with half slabs on the floor (zombies can't spawn on them)

that happen to me to i had a big sheep and cow farm plus allot of villagers and they just disappeared *sad-face*

We keep hearing this alot lately :I I lost all my animals as well, AwesomeFlame26 lost 'em too This is probably server-side, so don't go around saying that people killed your animals though

No I didn't think someone killed them cause there is no way they could do that just why did they disapper

oh ok i will try and save you to get them back lucky i had bought 2 eggs yesterday so it should be fine!

I think this is due to restarts. Not sure though

If its a single block the entities can move through them, commonly seen with chicken farms - its a MC bug. The server does also limit entities per chunk, 50 or 60 something (again, often seen from chicken farms)
